Overview
AURUS transforms how people interact with gold in Web3 — token management, liquidity, lending/borrowing, gold-backed NFTs, and marketplace flows. I contribute fullstack engineering on the product surfaces that make tokenized gold usable for traders and businesses.
The Problem
- Gold is historically hard to use inside digital financial and creative products.
- Traders and businesses need one place to manage, stake, lend, and create with tokenized gold.
- Web3 UX for real-world assets often feels fragmented across wallets, chains, and tools.
The Solution
- A unified dashboard for buy, sell, swap, stake, hold, and analyze flows.
- Liquidity, lend/borrow, and NFT collection features backed by tokenized gold.
- An integrated marketplace for gold-backed digital collectibles.
Architecture
- Web dashboard as the primary product surface for token and NFT operations.
- Multi-chain / partner ecosystem integrations for distribution and liquidity.
- Clear separation between portfolio actions, liquidity, and collectible experiences.
Engineering Decisions
Dashboard as the product hub
Centralizing token actions reduced context-switching across disconnected Web3 tools.
Gold as the constant
Every feature — DeFi, NFTs, gaming — stays anchored to the same real-world asset story.
Challenges
Making RWA feel simple
Tokenized gold only works if ordinary users can complete core actions without understanding every chain detail.
Many features, one mental model
Trade, stake, lend, and NFTs can overwhelm. The dashboard had to group actions around clear jobs.
Lessons Learned
- RWA products win on clarity more than novelty.
- Partner ecosystems matter as much as core features for distribution.
- Good Web3 UX hides complexity without hiding risk.
